Claire qualified as a Chartered Physiotherapist in 2006 with First Class Honours from Coventry University. She gained over 10 years experience treating musculoskeletal conditions in the NHS before permanently joining the PhysioFixx team. During her time with the NHS Claire treated a broad spectrum of conditions from acute injuries to long term conditions. She also had the opportunity to work alongside several Orthopaedic Consultants developing specialist skills in the diagnosis and treatment of lower limb conditions.
Claire enjoys treating a broad range of conditions but her areas of specialist interest include sports injuries and adolescents.
Between 2010-2012, Claire worked as a Clinical Trials Practitioner for the Trauma and Orthopaedic department at Ipswich Hospital. Recruiting and co-ordinating patients within Clinical Trials investigating a variety of surgical techniques.
She has been qualified to practice Acupuncture for musculoskeletal conditions since 2015 and she is also trained in Pilates by the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute (APPI).
In 2016 Claire completed a Masters module in strength and conditioning training from Hertfordshire University. The qualification complements her rehabilitation skills.
Claire has been a member of the PhysioFixx team since December 2013. She is trained in video bike fit analysis as well as more conventional physiotherapy assessment and rehabilitation.
Outside of work Claire is a keen runner. She has also completed her UK athletics level 1 coaching course.
She is a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and Health Care Professions Council.
