Running is a great way to get fit, burn calories and feels great – once you’ve recovered! Although it puts large demands on the tissues of the body, thankfully our bodies have a wonderful way of dealing with the forces involved and many runners will run for years without ever experiencing any pain or problems from it.
Unfortunately not every runner is so fortunate, and sometimes the body lets us know it’s not happy to take the strain we are putting it through by developing tissue break down and pain.
If you are a runner and you have had a previous injury, it may have been an unlucky event, but there may have been a reason the tissues of your body didn’t like things and responded in the way they did.
Our experienced team of Physiotherapists, UK Athletics qualified Running Coaches and Degree qualified Sports Therapists enable us to offer a wide range of services to people that love to run.
