Why train with a plan?

If you’re a runner, there’s nothing better than opening the door and simply running.

For those just starting out, or those of us that want to improve or chase a goal then a training plan will help get you there with reduced risk of injury and burn out.

Increasing mileage too quickly may just get you an injury rather than a finishers medal.

Following a plan will help strengthen your cardiovascular & musculoskeletal systems as well as your resolve.

From 5K to the 26.2 miles of a marathon, a plan created especially for you with your current ability and life pressures taken into account will help get you to the finish line.

Our Coach

Coach Jo  joined PhysioFixx in 2014 and is a UK Athletics qualified Coach in Running Fitness (CiRF).

A keen runner herself, Jo regularly competes in races for her running club where she also coaches.

Jo has completed several road and trail marathons and is always working towards the next goal, so is very aware of the complexities of fitting work, family and life around training for your goal. She has an excellent ability to tailor your programme around your specific needs and requirements. She is able to advise, alter and adjust your planned training programme when those life events interfere with ‘Plan A’, she can give you ‘Plan B, C or D’ which you don’t get from the books, magazines or online programmes.

Training Plan Costs

Consultations are at the PhysioFixx clinic.

Date specific, individual training plans; up to 12 weeks £50
up to 18 weeks £60
Additional support via email / text / telephone including 6 weekly review; up to 12 weeks £15
up to 18 weeks £20

* Longer plans can be arranged where necessary.
